Rocking The Fall With A Capsule Wardrobe
Anyone heard of capsule wardrobe? Donna Karen made it famous in the 80s with her simple yet elegant staple pieces. It’s something I’ve been interested in trying for some time now. The idea of having 20 or basic classic pieces that you can interchange with any other piece is really quite genius in its practical simplicity if you ask me.
If you’re like me, you have a bunch of clothes sitting idly in your closet that haven’t been worn in months. And let’s be honest, most mommies do not have time in the morning to carefully curate their closet to pick out that just right color-coordinated outfit. So I’ve created a list of things that I have now or would like to purchase for my capsule wardrobe. For fun I also created a board of some basic pieces on the Polyvore app. Zara, H&M, Sears, Old Navy and Target are great places for finding classic staple pieces that won’t cut into your daycare or date night budget.
What about you, what pieces do you have and like for the fall?
